Former Ole Miss INF Traded To Arizona Diamondbacks
Former Ole Miss infielder Grae Kessinger is leaving Houston for a new chapter in his MLB career. The Astros have traded Kessinger to the Arizona Diamondbacks in exchange for minor league right-hander Matthew Linskey, according to multiple reports.

PHOENIX — The Diamondbacks have added infielder Grae Kessinger following a trade with the Astros that sent pitcher Matthew Linskey to Houston. Kessinger, 27, has played shortstop, third base and second base. In 2024 Kessinger appeared in 22 games for the Astros, primarily as a pinch runner or defensive replacement.
