The team has been invited to the Green Fire in Shasta County to gather experiences from the recent incident and boost safety for the future.

A fire damaged a residence in Indian Wells Thursday afternoon, leaving one firefighter injured. The fire was first reported at a little after 12:30 p.m. on the 45300 block of Sante Fe Cove Drive. The first arriving engines reported the structure was fully involved in fire.

The fire spread to three other homes and to a commercial business, Vanessa's Beauty Salon, at the back of one of the homes.

The Memphis Fire Fighters Association said its members were left "high and dry" by the change to promised raises.
