Yesterday a cold front passed through our area, kicking up warmth and moisture and producing storms that even caused a possible damaging tornado in Phelps. A National Weather Service survey team is headed there today to determine if the damage was caused by a tornado or other dangerous weather such as straight-line

Isolated thunderstorms are possible Tuesday morning with better chances for scattered showers & thunderstorms by the afternoon.

Expect hot and humid afternoons with highs climbing into the low to mid-90s, and heat index values flirting with the triple digits at times.
