Following the success of Fool Me Once and Missing You, the new Harlan Coben Netflix thriller show gets a promising filming update from its star.

The latest collaboration between the streaming giant and mystery writer Harlan Coben centred around a woman who was stunned to discover her ex – who went missing a decade earlie

On 21st January, Netflix announced a new Harlan Coben series was officially in the works. They shared the update on their Instagram profile, with a picture of Harlan and series lead James Nesbitt holding the book the series is based on, Run Away.

Following the success of Coben adaptations 'Fool Me Once' and 'Missing You,' the streamer's next show is in the works with filming beginning this month.

Missing You centers on Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar, best known for playing Louisa in Slow Horses ), a police detective obsessed with extracting the last remaining bit of information about her father’s murder from the imprisoned hit man (Warren) who confessed to the crime.

Harlan Coben veteran Richard Armitage spoke about another element changed from the books, as his character in the books had sexual tension with the main character, DI Donovan. In the show, his character Ellis Stagger takes on more of a father figure to Kat.

The Netflix adaptation of Harlan Coben's 'Run Away' has cast 16, including James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones and Minnie Driver.

Meanwhile, other stars set to appear include Alfred Enoch (The Couple Next Door), Lucian Msamati (Conclave), Jon Pointing (Big Boys), Ellie de Lange (Wolf Hall), Adrian Greensmith (Harlan Coben’s Shelter), Ellie Henry (Hollyoaks), Tracy-Ann Oberman (Friday Night Dinner) and Annette Badland (Ted Lasso).

Harlan Coben’s Run Away will be available to watch on Netflix. Harlan titles currently available to stream on Netflix include: Missing You, Fool Me Once, Gone For Good, The Stranger, Stay Close, The Innocent, Hold Tight, The Woods, Safe.
