One family is in mourning after a deadly shooting in Huntsville on Thursday night. According to the Huntsville Police Department, officers responded to Oakdale Terrace around 10 p.m. and found a male victim shot to death.

The Madison County Coroner identified the victim of a deadly shooting in Huntsville Thursday night. Madison County Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill said 46-year-old Jalil Mohammad was shot and killed on Oakdale Terrace.

Authorities identified the victim killed in a shooting that happened Thursday night in Huntsville. Huntsville Police say they responded to a shooting in progress on the 2700 block of Oakdale Terrace around 10 p.m. Thursday. When officers arrived at the scene, the found a man that had suffered a fatal gunshot wound.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of Oakdale Terrace, south of Stringfield Rd. just around 10 p.m. Responding officers found a male victim who suffered a fatal gunshot wound. No other information was immediately available from Huntsville Police and no arrests have been announced in connection with this shooting.
