Amherst to open warming center, libraries as temperatures plummet. Here’s where
As temperatures drop next week, Amherst will open facilities for people to “stay safe and warm,” town officials said in a statement. Individuals are encouraged to visit these locations on Tuesday, Jan. 21; Wednesday, Jan. 22 and Thursday, Jan. 23. One of the locations will be inside the Bangs Community Center in the glass room at 70 Boltwood Walk.
