Jan 23, 2016 · [Newbie Question] When are the buffing powers worth it? So I've been playing for awhile now, enough to get the basic mechanics down at least. It seems that generally - unless you're trying to draw things out to heal - you want to put everyone down as fast as possible. Combats don't tend to last that many rounds, which means every action is precious.

Though I always enjoyed storytelling, Darkest Powers was the first book series I was obsessed with and it really sucked me into the world of reading! So thank you for that!
