Mar 1, 2002 · Repasted the CPU/GPU, then let the kid have a bash on Apex after school. Cooling fan considerably quieter, and moving the heat out the rear vent. So fan has enough capability to cool the system. This should also help keep the components cooler also. Verdict, success. Very happy with the reduction in noise and increase in cooling capacity.

So today I decided to put my old cooler master 212 to good use and went in with a dremel and soldered a Usb-A connector to my old noctua 120mm fan that was laying around. In my PC build remant supplies, i had mounting brakets over. I cut them down and glued them down. For the cooler i used a 0,5mm pad, was unsure about paste there.
