Aug 28, 2020 · The LG CX is probably the best current OLED on the market for gaming with HDMI 2.1 (40Gbps) ports, VRR (variable refresh rate), ALLM (auto low latency mode) and an HGiG (HDR Gaming Interest Group) setting along with Freesync and G-Sync. As a movie watching TV the LG CX also excels with excellent image accuracy, blacks and shadow details.
OLED (LG CX) developing dead pixels along edge after ~2.5 years
Aug 25, 2023 · I purchased my 55" LG CX in December 2020. It's been used pretty much on a daily basis for TV shows and movies, with occasional gaming; no news or sports channels. Yesterday, I decided to inspect the TV for possible burn-in, and noticed a lot(>10) of dead pixels(no color) along the top edge of the panel.

Dec 5, 2020 · I've recently purchased an LG 65CX OLED to replace my LG 55C6 OLED. As an audio setup I have the Samsung HW-MS650 soundbar, with accompanying wireless rear speakers and subwoofer. This is connected via HDMI for the TV ARC connection. (Not eArc.) I've been using this setup with no problem with my C6.

Nov 30, 2020 · And haven't tried putting the Sky feed into the CX yet either. Mainly been soaking up 4K streaming and Blu-Rays with my new Sonos Arc soundbar! There's only one RF connector on the back as you probably know, so the whole "record one while watching another" thing isn't going to work (as far as I know), so I put the project on back burner.

Raising an LG oled up slightly to accommodate soundbar
Nov 11, 2004 · I've recently bought a new TV and soundbar and I'm dealing with a similar problem. The only difference is that my soundbar actually fits underneath the TV, however, due to the vertical viewing angle resulting from a relatively low eye level and a relatively high shelf, the bar blocks about 0.5-5cm of the pictue, depending on "how" the viewer is accomodated.

Oct 24, 2023 · Fairly recently I had my 2020 LG OLED65CX5LB go belly up with a loud bang following a lightning strike nearby, it may have been just a coincidence but the timing (within a few minutes of the strike) suggests not. Anyway - TV dead, covered by a 5 year LG extended warranty via Domestic and General.
