Oct 28, 2020 · I shouldn’t have ordered the 256gb iPhone 12 pro myself. I use between 50-60gb storage on iPhone XS Max and iPhone pro 11 max. I had the 256gb cause apple forced our hands with 64/256gb options. but att charges $45 restock fee. So im. Stuck with the 256gb. 128gb is fine especially if u plan on reselling it in one year.
128gb, 256gb, or 512gb. Does it really make a difference?
Sep 26, 2023 · Even the 256gb iPhone 12 wouldn’t be able to hold all my Photos stuff. If I chose an iPhone 13, I would have the option of 512gb, but over time it would probably not be enough to hold all my Photos stuff anyway. (And going from a 12 mini with 128gb-256gb to a 13 mini with 512gb would be quite a big jump in cost.)

Sep 23, 2024 · Well it should be a very easy decision if you want to keep your iPhone 16 Pro for that long of a period of time. $999 vs $1099 = $100 over say just 5 years is only $20 per year. The price for 256 or 512 is $1099 vs $1299 = $200 over say 5 years is $40 per year. I would vote for the iPhone 16 Pro 256GB based on your input variables.

Oct 18, 2024 · Deleting the 128GB option is effectively a price hike. NAND prices drop considerably each year. Apple has been charging consumers $100 for 128GB -> 256GB since iPhone 12. At this point, it's pure margin. In 2025, $100 is enough for Apple to buy a 2TB NAND and still have change.
