iOS update to 17.7 instead of iOS18 - Apple Community
Sep 26, 2024 · Is your iPhone 15 Pro, by any chance, already on iOS 17.7? If it is, the Software Update screen will just display "iOS 17.7 / iOS 17 is up to date", and an option at the bottom of the screen to update to iOS 18. That's what my iPhone is showing, now that I've updated it from the latest version of iOS 16 to the latest version of iOS 17.

Jun 2, 2024 · Was on the phone with tech-support for an hour with Apple and with my carrier ~ it is the new software update. This iOS 17.5.1 has a major glitch with the messaging on phones and iPad’s, I don’t think I will be updating my Apple MacBook until this is fixed in fear that that will also stop working. No one has yet to find a solution.

Sep 16, 2024 · Same problem. After upgrade to iOS 18, both iPad and iPhone cannot download e-mails from one of my business e-mail accounts. When I delete the account and re-add it, everything seems fine. In the last step of adding it, all input is acknowledged with a green check bar. Yet, the download of mail messages is not possible. Sending is no problem.

Oct 18, 2023 · cannot print from my iPhone since iOS 17. I use an app on the background of my iMac - HandyPrint. My printer is connected to the mac and all iPhones and iPads can print via the iMac wirelessly. Two of my iPhones are update to the latest iOS 17 and cannot print anymore. The rest which has iOS 16 have no problem.

After some searching, I tried this and I now have my phone working again: Press on the Volume Up button located on the left side of the phone and let go.

There is a group I text every morning and have been doing so since I had iPhone SE 1st gen. The work around I was using to send to individuals is appearing as a group and any responses are viewed by the group.
